PRIME MINISTERS OF FIJI AND TONGA MEET IN DUBAI-(01-12-2023)

In a meeting held early this morning Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and Prime Minister Siaosi 'Ofakivahafolau Sovaleni of Tonga discussed fostering stronger diplomatic ties, regional collaboration, and shared initiatives to address pressing global challenges, particularly in the context of climate change.
The Prime Ministers exchanged views on key issues affecting their nations and explored opportunities for joint efforts in promoting sustainable development, environmental conservation, and economic cooperation.
The meeting served as a platform to reinforce the enduring friendship between Fiji and Tonga and to strengthen regional solidarity.
Following the discussions, the Prime Ministers joined leaders from around the world at Expo City for the #COP28UAE meetings.
