ICC Secretary General John W.H. Denton AO presented an award to Dubai Chambers President and CEO Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, applauding his leadership and the pioneering work of Dubai Chambers to revolutionise chamber models.

"I commend the leadership of the Dubai Chambers, whose pioneering spirit has revolutionised chamber models and set new standards of excellence within the chamber community. This outstanding contribution is enabling chambers through innovation, collaboration, and commitment to remain relevant and impactful every day, everywhere," Mr Denton said.

Mr Lootah commented: "As the first of its kind globally, the Chamber Model Innovation framework embodies Dubai Chambers' forward-thinking approach to serving the evolving needs of our members. Our successful initiative stands as a model that can be replicated by chambers worldwide and underlines Dubai's position as a leading centre for groundbreaking ideas. We remain committed to working closely with the International Chamber of Commerce and the World Chambers Federation to drive innovation and support the sustainable success of the international business community."

Commenting on the role of Dubai Chambers, Chair of the ICC World Chambers Federation (WCF) Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

"The chamber community is indebted to President Lootah and the Dubai Chambers for their groundbreaking contribution to the creation and development of the Chamber Model Innovation methodology. This pioneering work has provided chambers on every continent with a blueprint for optimising service portfolios, driving member engagement, and fostering organisational innovation. This commitment is driving chamber success which also serves to strengthen our chamber network entirely."

Introduced at the 12th World Chambers Congress in 2021, the Chamber Model Innovation offers a transformative framework for chambers to fast-track innovation with a focus on meeting customer needs.

During meetings at ICC, the Dubai Chambers delegation discussed the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), areas of collaboration with ICC and Chamber Model Innovation development through WCF-led trainings.
