New York State - The Town of Babylon Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Bristol Suffolk, LLC may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the subdivision of a 111,394 acre lot into two lots; Proposed Lot 1 is to be 100.114 acres and will be rezoned to a newly proposed zoning code of PIP-II (Planned Industrial Park-II), in order to construct an industrial technology park consisting of 9 buildings and totaling 1,617,471 square foot, along with associated site improvements; Proposed Lot 2 is to be 11.28 acres of undeveloped property to be retained by Pinelawn Cemetery. The proposal under review also includes the adoption of a new zoning district; Planned Industrial Park II (PIP II) which would encompass the project site. The project is located on the northeast side of Little East Neck Road and Long Island Railroad (LIRR) in Wheatley Heights, Town of Babylon, New York.
