Help Power HARMAN to SXSW 2020

SXSW, one of the most popular conferences for film, culture, music and technology, has opened its PanelPicker voting platform again this year to choose sessions for its 2020 conference-and we need your votes by August 23.

HARMAN's own Jason Johnson is up for consideration as part of a panel with popular email and marketing platform Mailchimp titled Know Your ABCDEs: Unique and Cohesive Brand Design.

About the Panel

The panel discusses the ABCDEs - Architecture, Branding, Collaboration, Data and Empathy - which cultivate holistic and lasting brand experiences, turning customers into enthusiasts - no matter the industry, the era, or the product. In today's age of brand oversaturation, with marketing messaging being delivered near-constantly through our personal devices, an identity that differentiates a company from its competition has never been more important.

So, how can brands approach design differently and preserve their identity across a growing array of products and outputs? Brand and product design must incorporate user emotion as well, not just experience. Effective design feels personal and enables user experiences that engage on an emotional level, which all begins with a consistent brand identity.

In this panel, Jason will lay out how HARMAN powers effective design to create consistent brand identities across product lines in disparate industries and markets.

How to Vote

Voting is simple and will only take a couple minutes. First, please click here to go to SXSW PanelPicker and sign up for an account (you'll just need an email and password). Once you're on the site, simply go to the panel details at this link and click 'VOTE UP' on the left side of the screen. Voting closes on August 23, so please take a minute and log your vote before then.

Social

Please share the links to the panels with friends and colleagues, and promote through your social channels using the hashtag #SXSW or retweet @HARMAN mentions of it (like this one). This is an extremely competitive process and votes are an important part of determining which panels make SXSW's final cut. We'd love to share our expertise at this years' panel - but we need your help to do so.
