The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources is seeking public input for the management plan of Chimney Hollow Open Space. Public input will be collected throughout this summer via an online survey and at the first public open house on Wednesday, May 29 followed by a virtual open house on Monday, June 3.
Information collected from the community will help guide future management of the new open space by helping understand the public's desired nature-based land and water recreation experiences at CHOS while protecting and enhancing ecological resources.
The public open house will be held Wednesday, May 29 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Natural Resources Administrative Office, 1800 S. CR 31, Loveland. The open house will offer community members the opportunity to meet planning staff and learn more about the future open space. For those that prefer a virtual option, an online open house will be held the following Monday, June 3 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The virtual meeting will be recorded for those unable to attend.
A second phase of public input will be sought in August/September around proposed management recommendations with the final CHOS plan completed by year end.
