MAYOR CANTRELL PARTICIPATES IN THIRD ANNUAL MONTRÉAL CLIMATE SUMMIT

NEW ORLEANS - Mayor LaToya Cantrell and Montréal Mayor Valérie Plante will be among the international leaders attending the Montréal Climate Summit. The purpose of the summit is to discuss climate issues that impact cities across North America and to recognize the important need to share information that will propel climate transition initiatives for today and well into the future.

The summit's call to action theme "Do More, do better. Faster." is the frontline approach of this annual conference. "When you hear the reports of how climate issues are impacting emergency weather conditions, it is vital to have a collective mission to proactively plan for climate issues because we are stronger together," said Mayor Cantrell.
