Penn State Altoona to host discussion on AI in academia

Penn State Altoona will hold a discussion on generative AI in academia at 12:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

Nicholas Rowland, Distinguished Professor of sociology, and Fabricio Saucedo, assistant professor of kinesiology, will serve as guest speakers.

ALTOONA, Pa. - Penn State Altoona will hold a discussion on generative AI in academia at 12:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

Nicholas Rowland, Distinguished Professor of sociology, and Fabricio Saucedo, assistant professor of kinesiology, will serve as guest speakers.

The event is sponsored by Student Pathways to Undergraduate Research. Lunch will be provided.
