Blacksmith's Corner
17647 Lakewood Blvd. Bellflower

Pat and Doreen Reed opened Blacksmith's Corner in November 1972. Since Pat was a farrier and Doreen loved horses, they started a business selling horse supplies, which also included selling chickens, ducks and feed. Over the years, horse ownership lessened and the store carried less horse products. They began to sell animals and supplies for chicks, ducks, bunnies, chickens, birds, fish, reptiles, dogs, cats and even pot bellied pigs. These days, Blacksmith's Corner fosters rabbits and guinea pigs for adoption and continue to carry a wide selection of live animals, feed, supplies, hay and straw bales. Pat passed away in 2020 and his daughter, Stacy continues run the store to carry on his legacy.
