University of Jyväskylä expands its popular business studies - new international bachelor's programme open for application in spring 2025

The Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE) is introducing brand-new bachelor's studies in English. The new Bachelor's Degree Programme in Business Innovation and Sustainability will be offered entirely in English. Students can continue their studies up to a master's degree.

The University of Jyväskylä's English-taught degree programmes will be complemented by a new exciting addition. The international master's programmes will be joined by a bachelor's programme in Business Innovation and Sustainability, to be launched in 2025.

The bachelor's programme is studied in three years, after which students will be able to continue to the master's level. The right to study is granted for certain JSBE master's programmes.

Apply to study for an international bachelor's degree in January 2025

Business Innovation and Sustainability is an international degree programme that builds on the core competences and profile of the School of Business and Economics.

"In our newprogramme, students will network with expertsin different fields during their studies, while building important skillsand proficiencyin business, argumentation, and the creationof new knowledge," saysJuha Kansikas, Academic Directorof theprogramme.

All those interested in the themes of the new bachelor's programme who are eligible for higher education and have a sufficient level of English language skills are welcome to apply.

You can apply for the programme in the first joint application round in January 2025. The admission criteria of the programme will be published in autumn 2024.

Further details on the new Bachelor's DegreeProgramme in Business Innovation and Sustainability will be made available in the coming months.
