SPINDALE - Corrections and law enforcement officials are seeking Roy Buff #1005898, who left Rutherford Correctional Center shortly after 1 p.m. today during family visitation.

Rutherford Correctional Center in Spindale is a minimum-security prison for men nearing the end of their sentences

Bu.ff, 33, is serving about three years for an assault conviction and was scheduled for release in May 2025. He stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weights about 180 pounds. He has numerous tattoos on his head, face and neck and was wearing green pants and a gray tee shirt.
