- The Kutztown University women's basketball team shot a season-best 46.8-percent (22-for-47) from the floor and held firm defensively, holding Gannon University to just 30.4-percent (17-of-56) as KU was able to hold on and defeat Gannon 58-50 Saturday afternoon in KU's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) home-opener at Keystone Arena. The Golden Bears (4-4 overall, 2-1 PSAC) have now won two games in-a-row, backed by the scoring of three players who recorded double-figures. Senior led the way with a season-high 14 points, to go along with four rebounds, three assists and a career-high three steals. Freshman Casey Remold had her fourth straight double-figure game, recording 11 points and adding seven rebounds, four blocks and two steals. tallied 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
