Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd.
Crailsheim, 18/02/2021 - Yanmar Compact Equipment EMEA is making social responsibility and dedication to sustainability a focal point of its corporate activities. This not only goes for the company's own employees, but also for those outside of the company. As part of this commitment, Yanmar donated fifty refurbished computers to the non-profit organisation Aufbaugilde Heilbronn gGmbH (Aufbaugilde) in February - thus lending a hand to support the most vulnerable members of society.
"At Yanmar, we are wholeheartedly invested in helping the disadvantaged and fostering sustainability. Our donation in kind achieves both of those aims and is a way for us to contribute to society. By supporting Aufbaugilde Heilbronn, we are supporting a very dedicated organisation in our region that offers help directly where it is needed without red tape," says Damiano Violi, Managing Director of Yanmar Compact Equipment EMEA.
Aufbaugilde Heilbronn gGmbH is a member of the Diakonisches Werk Baden-Württemberg and is involved in local social welfare work. Operating on the principle "help others help themselves", the organisation assists disadvantaged individuals, combats social exclusion, promotes reintegration into society, and facilitates individuals' personal growth in keeping with their individual capabilities. The organisation works closely with chambers of industry and commerce, among others, to unite full-time employees and volunteers in working toward a common goal.
