Celebrating the Second Cohort Awardees of the This is Public Health Global Grant Program

The Global Network for Public Health (GNAPH), with the support of Dr. Richard and Mrs. Linda Riegelman, is pleased to present the second cohort awardees of the This is Public Health(TIPH) Global Grant Program. This one-year grant program provides awards to academic public health institutions to develop TIPH Global campaigns that increase the visibility of public health in a region outside of the US.

The second cohort of TIPH Global, which will run from 2023 - 2024, has awarded twelve (12) grants to academic public health institutions across ten countries representing six regional public health associations. With diverse projects on issues including infectious disease, civil conflict and migration, climate change, and public health career guidance and competencies, the grantees plan to use a range of innovative and engaging techniques to educate, train, and empower their communities.

The first cohort of TIPH Global, which ran from 2021 - 2022, awarded grants to 20 public health institutions across 18 countries. The grantees produced an impressive range of projects, beneficially impacting communities worldwide.
