Around noon on Saturday, October 26, 1985, the body of an unidentified adult male was located on State Highway 22, between mile post markers 37 and 38 in the Borrego Springs area. The body was located down a steep embankment on the north side of the road. The body was in an advanced stage of decomposition. The victim had sustained trauma and the Medical Examiner determined the manner of death as homicide. The cause of death is not being released for investigative reasons.

No identification was found on the victim. He was wearing blue jeans, a light-colored pullover shirt and black combat boots. The left forearm displayed tattoos of a wolf howling at a red moon and the word "Life" or "Wife". The upper right arm was tattooed with the word "Linda" and the right forearm with the word "Gypsy___", the latter half of which was unreadable."

The Sheriff's Homicide unit continues to review this case and it remains under active investigation.

Investigación de Homicidio - Borrego Springs

Víctima no identificada.

Alrededor del mediodía del sábado 26 de octubre de 1985, el cuerpo de un hombre adulto no identificado fue localizado en la carretera estatal 22, entre los marcadores de milla 37 y 38 en el área de Borrego Springs. El cuerpo fue localizado en un terraplén empinado en el lado norte de la carretera. El cuerpo se encontraba en avanzado estado de descomposición. La víctima había sufrido un traumatismo y el médico forense determinó que la forma de muerte fue un homicidio. La causa de la muerte no se ha dado a conocer por razones de investigación.

No se encontró ninguna identificación en la víctima. Vestía jeans azules, una camisa de color claro y botas de combate negras. El antebrazo izquierdo mostraba tatuajes de un lobo aullando a una luna roja y la palabra "Vida" o "Esposa". La parte superior del brazo derecho estaba tatuada con la palabra "Linda" y el antebrazo derecho con la palabra "Gypsy___", cuya segunda mitad era ilegible."

La Unidad de Homicidios del Alguacil continúa revisando este caso y permanece bajo investigación activa.
