2023 World Savings Day - Speech by the Governor of the Bank of Italy

Governor Ignazio Visco speaks today on the occasion of the 99th World Savings Day, organized in Rome by the Association of Banking Foundations and Savings Banks (ACRI). This year's theme is 'Scelte consapevoli, educazione, responsabilità. La sfida del risparmio per le nuove generazioni' (Informed choices, education, responsibility. The challenge of saving for the next generation).

This will be Ignazio Visco's last public appearance as Governor of the Bank of Italy, marking the end of this second term.
