Vizii Urban invests EUR 1.5 million in new machinery and closes 2023 with rapid growth

Last year, Vizii Urban, an urban services company, invested EUR 1.5 million in acquisition of new machinery thus both modernizing and making its vehicle fleet greener and strengthening its position in the market, informs Valdis Purvinskis, the company's Chairman of the Board.

Purvinskis describes year 2023 as successful saying that the company expanded by starting to service new territories and carrying out acquisition deals. That resulted in a more than EUR 267 thousand profit.

Vizii Urban began operating as a full-fledged subsidiary only at the beginning of last year. For over 20 years, provision of urban services was part of CleanR's business operations, which as a result of reorganization in 2022, was set up as a separate entity.

To mitigate its environmental impact, last year Vizii Urban purchased 14 units of machinery meeting the highest ecological standards. "Despite it being much more expensive, we will continue this year to invest in the modernization of our machinery, thus helping the company and our country to work toward our climate neutrality goals," emphasizes Purvinskis.

Last year was not only a year of technological advancement for our company. We also signed new agreements on servicing urban areas in Riga, Bauska, and Sigulda. In addition, the company acquired the Cēsis-based street cleaning firm KOM-Auto, which now is a Vizii Urban subsidiary.

Purvinskis emphasizes that the provision of urban services in different parts of Latvia, for example, in seaside towns with changeable weather conditions or historical, hilly towns, or commercial sites makes the company to continuously develop and improve to be able to provide its clients with the highest quality services.

In 2023, Vizii Urban was also successful in its business with private commercial clients-shopping malls, logistics centers, manufacturing sites-signing contracts worth over EUR 500 thousand. The company closed the year with a more than EUR 267 thousand profit.
