The Department of Public Health at the College of Health Sciences (CHS) at Qatar University (QU), in collaboration with Al-Andalus Primary School for Girls, organized an interactive educational event entitled "Journey to Planet Health". The event was organized jointly by the Department of Public Health and students of the Foundations of Health Education course (PUBH 22) and focused on enriching primary school students with general health information.

The event, organized under the supervision of Mrs. Zahraa Beydoun, Mrs. Walaa Kayyal, and Public Health students, received an enthusiastic response, with approximately 150-200 students from Al-Andalus Primary School for Girls participating in interactive learning experiences covering four main health topics: hygiene, oral health, physical activity, and nutrition.

The students participated in a series of interactive educational booths, engaging in activities such as proper hand washing techniques, interactive dental hygiene activities, and fun physical exercises, games focusing on interactive presentations, activities, and competitions.

The event emphasized QU's commitment to excellence in public health education, engagement, and community service. The event also provided a hands-on learning opportunity for university students, providing them with practical experience in organizing and delivering community-oriented health education, as well as Al Andalus Primary School for Girls' dedication to promoting a healthy lifestyle and well-being from a young age.
