On Jan. 18, 2023, missing person Thanh Van Nguyen was located by Long Beach Fire Department personnel in the City.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a 79-year-old at-risk missing person, Thanh Van Nguyen who was last seen on Jan. 18, 2023, at approximately 9:00 a.m.

Nguyen was last seen in the 4400 block of Greenbrier Road and suffers from mental conditions, and he may become disorientated.

At-risk missing person Thanh Van Nguyen is described as follows:

Age: 79-years-old
Gender: Male
Race: Asian
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 100 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Light navy blue zip-up jacket, navy blue sweatpants, black beanie and black sandals.
Scars/ Marks/ Tattoos: None
Medical Alerts: Has medical condition(s), may become disoriented.
