State Representative Mike Coffey urges Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to reconsider closing the Springfield Regional Processing and Distribution Center by filing House Resolution 691.
I filed a House Resolution HR691 on behalf of the Illinois House of Representatives to have on record the strong disappointment we all share about the Unites States Postal Service (USPS) proposed network consolidation plan.

Springfield, IL…State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield), along with other state leaders, has expressed his opposition to the United States Postal Service's (USPS) proposed network consolidation plan. While the proposal has good intentions, it would ultimately create unemployment and mail delays for Illinois residents. Read more…
