On Friday, April 12, 2024, at approximately 6:30 AM, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force, Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives arrested Monterius Foster, age 30, of 169 Canal Street, # 1304 Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant drafted by the Providence Police Department for Hit and Run serious bodily injury. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Foster was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Providence Police Department at the scene.

On Friday, April 12, 2024, at approximately 7:30 AM, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Shaun Brunelle , age 42, of 52 Riverside Avenue, Warwick Rhode Island, as a Fugitive From Justice out of Palm Beach County FL for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Sexual Battery on a Child Under 12. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Brunelle was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Warwick Police Department at the scene.

On Friday, April 12, 2024, at approximately 8:00 AM, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Zachery Choquette, age 31 of Silver Lake , Providence, RI for 1.) Indecent Solicitation of a Child and 2.) Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor. Mr. Choquette turned himself into the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed then transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment. The Honorable Justice Goldman set bail at $5,000 with surety with special bail conditions of restricted Internet access and no unsupervised contact with minors.
