BATON ROUGE POLICE CHIEF MURPHY PAUL RECEIVES FBI AWARD

Congratulations to Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul and several Louisiana State Troopers who received awards from the FBI for their distinguished efforts in the arrest of former U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Agent Chad Scott and three other members of the New Orleans-based federal drug task force.

Scott was sentenced to 13 years in prison for several counts of corruption.

Chief Paul became involved in the investigative process of this case that lasted 5 years while employed with the Louisiana State Police.
