On March 28, 2024, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the New York State Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hudson Ave in the City of Rochester. During the course of the investigation, a loaded 9mm Ghost Gun was recovered. Both occupants of the vehicle, Jalil Morris, age 22, of Rochester, NY, and Damion Ware, age 21, of Rochester, NY, were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (C Felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th (A Misdemeanor), and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (A Misdemeanor). Ware is currently on Probation for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th and was subsequently charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd- Previous Conviction (D Felony). Both were remanded to the Monroe County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
