The Northwestern Pritzker School of Law will host its 50th Annual Securities Regulation Institute from January 30, 2023 - February 1, 2023. During the three-day event, attendees will learn from regulators who write new regulations, judges who interpret the law to resolve complex disputes and prominent practitioners who guide their clients through the maze of new legislation, regulations and jurisprudence. The conference is designed for securities practitioners, outside and in-house counsel, compliance officers, regulators, investment bankers and securities dealers.
Adam Hakki, Global Managing Partner and Head of the Firm's Litigation Practice and Disputes Unit, will moderate a panel titled, "Securities Class Action and Shareholder Litigation: Key Developments and a View From All Angles," on February 1, 2023. The panel will discuss the following topics:
Lona Nallengara, Global Head of the Corporate Business Unit and partner in the Firm's Capital Markets practice, will speak on a panel titled, "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Securities Law but Were Never Given the Chance to Ask," on February 1, 2023.
