Oct. 4: Second rail realignment workshop at Town Hall
SANDAG has scheduled a second, in-person open house to present information on the LOSSAN Rail Realignment Project from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Del Mar Civic Center Town Hall, 1050 Camino del Mar.
The realignment project envisions a tunnel beneath Del Mar as an alternative to the railway on the bluffs. The tunnel is expected to be completed by 2035.
On Aug. 30 at the Town Hall, SANDAG hosted a heavily-attended workshop. The Oct. 4 event will include a brief presentation, hands-on workshop and opportunities for public comment to the project team.
