Notice of CEQA Posting: Addendum to the 1312 El Paseo & 1777 Saratoga Avenue Mixed-Use Village Project FEIR

The City of San José has prepared an Addendum to the 1312 El Paseo & 1777 Saratoga Avenue Mixed-Use Village Project Final Environmental Impact Report (SCH# 2020090521).

Project Description
The project is a Planned Development Permit Amendment to allow revisions to Building 3 in the 1312 El Paseo and 1777 Saratoga Avenue Mixed-Use Village Signature Project including the reduction in building height from 11-stories to one story, removal of residential uses, reduction in building square footage to approximately 58,735 square feet, and the reconfiguration of the underground parking garage on an approximately 10.7-gross acre site.

Location
1312 El Paseo de Saratoga and 1777 Saratoga Avenue
The project is proposed on approximately 10.7 acres located at the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Lawrence Expressway/Quito Road in San José. The project consists of two sites:

  • El Paseo (a portion of Assessor Parcel Number [APN] 403-33-014), which is approximately 8.9 acres in size and located at the southeast corner of Saratoga Avenue and Quito Road; and
  • 1777 Saratoga Avenue (APNs 386-10-033, -036, -044, -045, and -046), which is approximately 1.8 acres in size and located at the northeast corner of Saratoga Avenue and Lawrence Expressway.

This Addendum has been prepared as part of the supplemental environmental review process needed to evaluate the proposed project.
