Honoring the Laguna Creek Girl's Flag Football Team

On February 5, in celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, the Laguna Creek Girl's Flag Football Team was recognized by the Board of Directors - not just for their achievements, but for their courage to lead. In their inaugural season, these athletes became the first to represent EGUSD in girl's flag football, paving the way for others to follow.

They stepped onto the field with determination, represented their school at the Rocklin Jamboree, and secured their first victory on September 5, 2024. But their journey goes beyond the scoreboard. It's about the pride they brought to their school, the connections they forged, and the example they set for future generations.

These young women remind us of what National Girls & Women in Sports Day stands for: that sports are more than games - they're a foundation for confidence, resilience, and possibility.
