Tajani to chair the Working Table for Italian enterprises in Russia

A meeting of the Working Table for Italian Enterprises in Russia will be held this morning at 11:00 a.m. at the behest of the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani, who will chair it.

Convened in the wake of the recent measures adopted by the Russian government against a number of foreign companies, including the Ariston Thermo Group, the meeting will be attended by Confindustria, the Italian Trade Agency, representatives of the Italian Ministry of Finance, the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, trade associations, and companies with significant investments in the Federation; the Italian Embassy in Moscow and representatives of the Italian business community in Russia will also be attending from remote.

The meeting will serve to gather updates on the situation directly from companies operating in the country and to exchange views on how the Italian Government intends to protect the interests of the business community in Russia.
