The Orkney Islands Council (Whitechapel Lane, Kirkwall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the building of two properties.

The Order will be in operation from 1 May 2024 to 31 December 2024. The effect of the Order will be to close Whitechapel Lane (between Victoria Street and Junction Road), Kirkwall, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
