Local elections are taking place in Knowsley on Thursday 2 May 2024.

In addition, elections for the Liverpool City Region Mayor and Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner are also taking place on 2 May 2024.

If you have opted for a postal or proxy vote, you should have received your poll card or ballot paper by now. If you haven't please contact Knowsley's Election team by emailing [email protected] or call 0151 443 2222.

On Thursday 2 May 2024, polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm. There are 70 polling stations across Knowsley.

If you vote in person, your nearest polling station will be printed on your polling card.

Alternatively, you can find out where you nearest polling station is by typing your postcode on the polling station finder here.

Remember, if you are voting in person, you will need to take along photo ID with you (original versions and not a photocopy). Accepted ID includes a passport, driving licence, blue badge, a proof of age card, travel concessionary cards, Biometric Immigration document, Defence Identity Card or National Identity Card. A full list of accepted ID can be viewed here.

If you have a form of accepted ID but it's out of date, you can still use it if it looks like you.

If you have lost your photo ID, including a Voter Authority Certificate, you can apply for an emergency proxy vote up to 5pm on polling day. Find out more here.

You can keep up-to-date with the live local election results on Friday 3 May by following @knowsleycouncil or visiting www.knowsleynews.co.uk.

The results for the Liverpool City Region Mayor and Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner will be published on Saturday 4 May at www.liverpool.gov.uk and Choose my Police and Crime Commissioner website.
