Heads Up: Potential Severe Weather Tomorrow, April 11

Severe weather is anticipated tomorrow, Thursday, April 11. Scattered thunderstorms, high winds, poor beach and marine conditions, and coastal flooding during the afternoon high tide are possible. There is a possibility for an isolated tornado/waterspout.

Sandbags are available for pickup tomorrow, April 11, 7 a.m. through 3 p.m. at the Pavement and Traffic Operations Building, 1744 9th Ave. N. More information can be found at stpete.org/sandbags.

What To Do:

  • Secure loose outdoor items

  • Take caution of high winds and flooded streets while driving

  • Stay off the water; high tide is expected around 3:35 p.m.
