The second cycle of the Smart Start student program begins

 24 students will work on digital transformation with mentors from Makedonski Telekom

Today, Makedonski Telecom opened its doors to 24 students who were selected for the Smart Start program for professional development. During the next year, they will work with their mentors, top professionals, on projects from several areas related to digital transformation, such as: technology, IT, finance, marketing, e-business, communications, data analytics, product management, etc.

The program offers excellent opportunities and opens up a space for the development of students who will create advanced digital services with the latest technology, and learn about agile work and designer thinking, which are highly valued in the labour market.

"With Smart Start, we give young people a chance to grow and develop in an international company, and on the other hand, our company gets talents with new energy and enthusiasm". We are keeping up with the new times, towards digital transformation together with new talents and our experienced professionals" - said Stavros Georgakopoulos, People and Transformation Hub Leader of Makedonski Telecom.

This is the second cycle of Smart Start, which began in 2021, when 28 students successfully implemented 11 projects, and 17 of them became part of the team and continued working in Telekom.

Next year, young people will also have the opportunity to feel the rhythm of working in a company that is a leader in its industry, and also start their career in Telekom.
