(4 January 2024, Hong Kong) - Fosun Tourism Group ("Fosun Tourism", or the "Group", HKEX Stock Code: 1992), a world-leading leisure-focused integrated tourism group is pleased to announce that its businesses in China, which includes Club Med and Atlantis Sanya, and Taicang Alps Resort performed exceptionally well during the 2024 New Year's Day holiday, with various indicators such as Business Volume, Occupancy Rate and Average Daily Rate by room performing strongly.

During 2024 New Year's Day holiday, the total Business Volume of Club Med China Resorts was approximately 154% higher than that of the 2023 New Year's Day holiday and approximately 84% above that of 2019 New Year's Day holiday, with Average Occupancy Rate reaching 85%. Moreover, the Occupancy Rate of three ice and snow resorts in Beidahu, Yabuli, and Changbaishan reached above 95% between 29 and 30 December. Additionally, the four resorts in Nanjing Xianlin, Taicang, Anji, and Yanqing were either fully booked or close to fully booked between 30 and 31 December. This reflects the high demand for domestic ice and snow tours and urban short-haul trips during this year's New Year's Day holiday, supported by the popularity of two main themes: ice and snow activities and New Year's Eve.

From 30 December 2023 to 1 January 2024, Atlantis Sanya's Business Volume exceeded that of the 2023 New Year's Day holiday by approximately 12% and surpassed that of the same period in 2019 by approximately 12%, setting a new record for the highest Business Volume during the New Year's Day holiday since its opening. The resort also achieved an Average Occupancy Rate of 94%. During the holiday, the restaurants at Atlantis Sanya hosted New Year's Eve Carnival parties based on various themes and featuring non-stop international entertainment performances and interactive activities, such as electro-acoustic bands, synchronized dances, samba-flavored shows, and a captivating New Year's Eve drone show. These offerings provided guests with a delightful sensory experience for both their eyes and taste buds.

Taicang Alps Resort also witnessed an upsurge in business during the New Year's Day holiday. As the largest indoor ski resort in East China, Alps Snow Live saw average daily traffic of 3,000 visitors, and weekday traffic of approximately 1,500 visitors after entering December, reflecting the soaring appeal of ice and snow among southern Chinese consumers.

The domestic culture and tourism market expanded smoothly and healthily during the 2024 New Year's Day holiday. Data disclosed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China showed that during the three-day New Year's Day holiday, 135 million domestic trips were made, which is an increase of 155.3% year-on-year, and an increase of 9.4% on a comparable basis compared with the same period in 2019. Moreover, domestic tourism revenue totaled RMB 79.73 billion, representing an increase of 200.7% year-on-year, and an increase of 5.6% compared with the same period in 2019.
