Shaping a safer future together

MaltaFreeportTerminals has commended three colleagues for putting forward outstanding suggestions on how work processes at our facility can be made even safer in a drive to promote the concept of safety as a matter of collective responsibility. Following an initiative by our Safety Culture Committee to invite staff from all departments to put forward ideas, Denise Falzon from the Purchasing Department, Luke Micallef from the Operations Department, and Theodoro Akakios from the Engineering Department, were recognised for their innovative and impactful recommendations. This initiative forms part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safer and more efficient workplace. We also undertake other activities, such as Toolbox Talks and Gemba Walks, which are essential for engaging employees in safety discussions and ensuring a proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety concerns on the ground. Thanks to all those taking part!
