Pole replacement Monday to close right lane on Nuuanu, Kailua-bound direction approaching Pauoa Road

HONOLULU, June 23, 2023 - To ensure public safety and system reliability, Hawaiian Electric crews will replace a leaning pole on Nuuanu Avenue near Kawananakoa Neighborhood Park on Monday, June 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The work will close the right lane of Nuuanu in the Kailua-bound direction between N. Kuakini Street and Pauoa Road as crews replace the pole and related utility equipment.
Traffic cones and safety signs will mark the work zone and flagmen will provide onsite traffic control. Motorists are advised to drive with caution when approaching and passing the area, and plan for minor traffic delays or seek alternate routes when possible.
