Reclamation announces public negotiations for Delta-Mendota Canal and Jones Pumping Plant Extraordinary Maintenance work
PUBLIC NOTICE
FRESNO, Calif.- The Bureau of Reclamation today announces a teleconference negotiation session for a repayment contract with the San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority on the repayment of extraordinary maintenance work for the Delta-Mendota Canal Jones Pumping Plant Excitation Cabinet and Control Panel Refurbishment Project. Funding for the project was made available through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.The $25 million allocation to the Delta-Mendota Canal Jones Pumping Plant Excitation Cabinet and Control Panel Refurbishment Project announced on April 5 will be used to provide needed facility modernization, which will allow the continuance of power generation and ensure the continued safe, dependable, and reliable operation of the facility.
