Implementation of Revamped RGSA

Ministry is implementing the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of revamped RGSA in the Country including Odisha. The scheme is approved for implementation from 2022-23 to 2025-26 to develop governance capabilities for leadership roles to enable the Gram Panchayats (GPs) to function effectively and to deliver on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through Localization at the grassroots level. During 2022-23, total Rs.672.967Cr has been released under revamped RGSA in the Country including Rs. 11.40 Cr as a centre share to Odisha for various activities.

The State wise details of the number of Panchayats, whose Elected Representatives have received basic orientation training and refresher training under the RGSA is at Annexure.
