WEEK AT A GLANCE: Texan Baseball and Softball highlight home events, Tennis wraps up four-match road stretch

After impressive series victories by both teams, Texan Baseball and Softball are back in Stephenville this weekend.

TEXAN BASEBALL dropped their first game of last week's series against SFA before outscoring the Lumberjacks 22-11 in the next two games to take the series win. The Texans begin this week on the road at Texas Tech at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, their fifth Power Four opponent of the season. They return to the Tarleton Baseball Complex to begin conference play against Sacramento State on Friday at 6 p.m. This will be Military Appreciation Night, with the Tarleton State Corps of Cadets making a strong presence at the field. The series continues on Saturday at 3 p.m. and wraps up on Sunday at 1 p.m. Their next home game will be April 1 when they host Lamar for the Residence Life Game.

TEXAN SOFTBALL went 3-1 on the road last week, dominating Prairie View A&M in a midweek matchup and taking a 2-1 series win over No. 24 ranked Grand Canyon. The Texans look to stay hot as they continue conference play at home and host Seattle U for a three-game series, beginning with a doubleheader on Friday. The first game of the doubleheader is set to start at 3 p.m. In conjunction with the Texan Baseball game that evening, this will also be themed around Military Appreciation. The series will wrap up Saturday at 11 a.m. The Texans will be on the road the following weekend, traveling to Utah Tech for a three-game series. Their next home game is set for April 8 against North Texas, where there will be a mini helmet giveaway for early arriving fans.

TEXAN TENNIS went undefeated last week, extending their win streak to seven after taking down SFA and McNeese on the road. The Texans finish their four-match road trip this week, starting at North Texas at 2 p.m. on Saturday. They have a quick turnaround to UT Arlington to take on the Mavericks at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The Texans' next matchup will be back in Stephenville on April 4 to host Grand Canyon. This will be Greek Day, with Texan branded seat cushions given away to early arriving fans.

TEXAN TRACK & FIELD began the outdoor season in impressive fashion, leaving the Clyde Hart Classic with four event champions. The Texans will spend Thursday through Saturday in Austin this week, heading to the Texas Relays. Their next competition will be April 4-5 in Denton, Texas, at the Bill Schmidt Invite.
