STUDIOCANAL Announces The World Premiere Of Beating Hearts Directed By Gilles Lellouche At The 2024 Cannes Film Festival In Official Competition

STUDIOCANAL is thrilled to announce that BEATING HEARTS, directed by Gilles Lellouche and co-produced by CHI-FOU-MI and TRESOR FILMS (SINK OR SWIM, THE WOLF'S CALL) will World Premiere in Official Selection Competition at The Cannes Festival 77th edition.

Following SINK OR SWIM, STUDIOCANAL's biggest success in France, comes BEATINGHEARTS which marks STUDIOCANAL's biggest investment in a French film to date. The film will be released theatrically in France 16 October 2024 followed by the global roll out.

Written by Gilles Lellouche (SINK OR SWIM) with Audrey Diwan (HAPPENING) and Ahmed Hamidi (SINK OR SWIM), BEATING HEARTS is an epic love story featuring a unique blend of visual and sound spectacle, high pitch emotion and electrifying action. Starring Adèle Exarchopoulos (BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOR) and François Civil (THE THREE MUSKETEERS), this modern Romeo and Juliet story will take audiences on a pulsating journey of revenge and redemption where love and violence are forever bound.
