Loudoun County Facilities Closed Sunday, January 19

Due to the forecasted inclement weather, Loudoun County facilities will be closed on Sunday, January 19, 2025. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Sunday for western Loudoun and a winter weather advisory for eastern Loudoun, with forecasted storm accumulations in Loudoun ranging from 3 to 6 inches.

The facilities impacted by Sunday's closures include the recreation centers, community centers and senior centers operated by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services; the Loudoun County Animal Shelter and Loudoun County Public Library branches.

Loudoun County encourages residents to monitor the forecast closely and take necessary precautions. Updated forecasts for Loudoun are posted by the National Weather Service (NWS) at weather.gov/lwx, as well as on the NWS Facebook and X.
