6 NYCRR Section 190.41 Salt Hill State Forest

Town of Cortlandt, Westchester County

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation filed a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for the addition of a new section 190.41 to 6 NYCRR Part 190, pursuant to Environmental Conservation Law sections, 1-0101(3)(b), 3-0301(1)(b), 3-0301(2)(m), 9-0105(1) and 9-0105(3).

The proposed rulemaking will protect public safety and natural resources on the Salt Hill State Forest while providing a quality outdoor experience for users.

The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking is available in the March 6, 2024 issue of the State Register.

Public comments will be accepted by the NYS DEC through May 6, 2024. Written comments can be submitted to the contact listed below.
