Pueblo Arts Alliance Announces Open Call for Artwork

PUEBLO - The Pueblo Arts Alliance is thrilled to extend an open call to all local artists for a prestigious opportunity to have their artwork showcased in the lobby of Mayor Heather Graham's Office.

"I am excited to announce a new partnership in the Mayor's Office with the Arts Alliance with the intention to showcase local artwork in our lobby area," said Mayor of Pueblo Heather Graham. "We have so many talented creatives in the Pueblo community and we welcome many businesses, organizations and individuals in the Mayor's Office throughout the day, so this is the perfect opportunity to showcase local artwork."

Mayor Graham's steadfast support for artists and creatives within the Pueblo community has been nothing short of extraordinary. Her innovative leadership and dedication to promoting the arts have created a platform for local artists to thrive and contribute to the vibrant tapestry of Pueblo's cultural landscape.

"The Pueblo Arts Alliance is profoundly honored for the opportunity to collaborate with Mayor Graham in showcasing the diverse talents of our community," said Executive Director of the Pueblo Arts Alliance Christina McCann. "This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to promoting artistic excellence, cultural diversity, and community enrichment."

Selected artists will receive 70% commission on the sale of their artwork, with the remaining 30% allocated to the Pueblo Arts Alliance for their role in curating and facilitating this display.

The first artwork displayed in the month of April comes from Katie Magby with three curated pieces entitled "Lilly of the Valley," another called, "She Who Dreams," and the third piece, "Her Journey." All artwork curated by Arts Alliance will be displayed the second Friday of each month and rotate on a monthly basis for the public to view new artwork.
