AV Mental Health Awareness Day & Walk Planned for Poncitlán Square

PALMDALE - Join the Erick A Garcia "You Are Enough" Foundation, City of Palmdale, and many community partners for the AV Mental Health Awareness Day and walk on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Poncitlán Square, 38315 9th Street East.

The event will help raise awareness and provide information about mental health, suicide prevention, and community resources, including a morning walk, with registration at 7:30 a.m. and the walk beginning at 8 a.m. Admission is free, with donations encouraged and a free T-shirt included with a minimum $35 donation. You are encouraged to register prior to the walk at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/av-mental-health-awareness-day-registration-347528084857.

Following the walk, the event will host free entertainment, community resources, service dogs and vendors. Food trucks will also be available for food and beverage purchases.
