Two Arrested for Felony Burglary

Just before 4:00 a.m. on August 10, 2022, Glendale PD patrol officers responded to the 200 block of Spencer St. regarding two males checking vehicle door handles in the area.

Upon arrival, the officers observed two males, later identified as 21-year-old Denis Diaz of San Bernardino and 19-year-old Carlos Ramirez (transient) walk in separate directions away from a parked vehicle. Officers contacted the males, and Ramirez was found to be in possession of gloves.

During the investigation, officers discovered that six vehicles in the area had been ransacked. A search of the vehicle that Diaz and Ramirez arrived at the location in together produced numerous items that did not belong to either individual including designer sunglasses, record player, and a DJ soundboard.

Officers also located a window breaker, credit cards and paperwork belonging to other individuals, and several checkbooks belonging to someone else.

Officers reached out to the victims of the vehicle burglaries, and Diaz and Ramirez were arrested and booked for felony burglary.
