McEachin Introduces Earth Day Resolution

WASHINGTON - Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) today introduced his resolution honoring Earth Day and reaffirming the importance of protecting and preserving our planet. More than 60 of his colleagues joined the Congressman introducing the resolution.

'We have an ongoing responsibility to renew our promise to preserve our planet and to act on that commitment,' McEachin said. 'After the egregious rollbacks on needed protections under President Trump, I commend President Biden for his commitment to addressing the climate crisis and to environmental justice.

'We all have a shared responsibility to ensure future generations inherit a livable, sustainable and ecologically rich planet.'
