"We thank both Sue and Liz for their dedicated, unwavering service to the College. We wish them a wonderful journey as they head into retirement, where they'll be able to spend more time with family and friends," said Dean of the HFC School of Health and Human Services (HHS) Dr. Cyndi Scheuer.

Sue Jabara

HFC program director for the Radiographer program Sue Jabara has been at HFC since 2005. An alumna of Madonna University and the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Jabara began as an adjunct instructor before moving into the full-time faculty position of Clinical Coordinator for the Radiographer program.

Along with her duties as program director, a role she assumed in 2018, Jabara has successfully represented HHS in the role of faculty department chair for several years. Prior to coming to the College, Jabara worked as a staff technologist at Henry Ford Health and what is now Corewell Health East, Dearborn.

Liz Hoffman

HFC director for the Medical Assistant/Medical Insurance Specialist program, Liz Hoffman has been at the College since 2014. She has coordinated and revised curricula, was the sole accreditation organizer, taught and counseled students, worked with the clinical affiliates for the students' clinical education, arranged externships for students, and worked with adjunct faculty members to provide a well-balanced, professional program. A two-time alumna of Central Michigan University, Hoffman served as the Associate Dean of Health Sciences at Baker College for 12 years before coming to HFC.

Please join us on April 22 to extend your well wishes to Sue and Liz as they retire at the end of the Winter 2024 semester. Light refreshments will be served.
