Anti-Narcotics Directorate arrests drug suspect

The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has arrested a man, 30, for possessing narcotics. An investigation into the received information led to indetfying and arresting the suspects. Hashish and another illicit drug locally called "Shabu", worth more than BD38,000, were confiscated. Legal proceedings were taken to refer the case to the Public prosecution. The directorate calls upon citizens and residents to report cases, complaints or observations through hotline 996. Confidentiality protected.
