The JFTC Hosts G7 Joint Competition Enforcers and Policy Makers Summit

The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will host a G7 Joint Competition Enforcers and Policy Makers Summit on November 8, 2023 in Tokyo in cooperation with Secretariat of Digital Market Competition Headquarters, Cabinet Headquarters, Cabinet Secretariat to facilitate international efforts to promote competitive markets and effective competition law enforcement.

　On November 9, 2023, the day after the Summit, Competition Policy Research Center of the JFTC will host a symposium, "The Roles of G7 Competition Authorities under Social and Economic Shifts" as the side event of the Summit.

　To ensure the success, the JFTC will continue to prepare for them collaborating with the G7 members.
