Kirkland Advises Basalt Infrastructure Partners on Acquisition of Distributed Resources Business from American Electric Power

Kirkland & Ellis counseled affiliates of Basalt Infrastructure Partners LLC on a definitive agreement to acquire AEP OnSite Partners, which owns the distributed resources business of American Electric Power (Nasdaq: AEP), consisting of over 300 MW of projects at nearly 100 sites across the U.S. The transaction is subject to certain customary closing condition.
