Rescinded Precautionary Boil Water Notice: 1 West Las Olas

The precautionary boil water notice for 1 West Las Olas has been rescinded as water service interruption was not experienced.

Original Notice (Friday, July 1):

City of Fort Lauderdale crews are performing emergency repairs to the water distribution system. The impacted properties are in the area of 1 West Las Olas.

A precautionary boil water notice is being issued effective immediately to the impacted properties highlighted in the map below.

The precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until drinking water test results pass for two consecutive days, as per Florida Administrative Code. The City will notify neighbors when the precautionary boil water notice has been lifted.

Neighbors are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Bottled water may be used as an alternative.
