On May 21, 2024, Tan Xuguang, who had just finished the research in Italy, led the team to Cassis, France, to investigate Baudouin in depth, listened to the report of the management's key work, and made an impromptu keynote speech.

Baudouin, founded in 1918, was affected by the global financial crisis in 2009 and fell into bankruptcy crisis. Weichai promised to ensure that "not a single Baudouin employee will be laid off", and conducted strategic restructuring of Baudouin. 2024 marks the 15th anniversary of the strategic reorganization of the two sides. Over the past 15 years, Weichai has always fulfilled its commitment, continuously increased investment, expanded production capacity, and increased employment, enabling Baudouin to enter the track of high-quality development, successfully saving this century-old enterprise, and creating a new benchmark for win-win cooperation between Chinese and French enterprises.

We take Baudouin as the strategic support of European manufacturing, and continue to expand the localized manufacturing capacity of high-end large-bore high-power density engines, efficiently meet the needs of global customers, so that the Baudouin brand truly climbs to the top of the world and becomes the first power brand in Europe.

Tan Xuguang listened in detail to Baudouin's management on the company's operation, capacity improvement, supply chain construction, new project planning and other key work reports, and visited Baudouin's manufacturing plant and warehousing and logistics center.
